On Occasion, Shih-Tzu or Shih-Tzu mixes do sadly end up in shelters due to various reasons.
Moving is probably #1, but some dogs do get Lost or Stolen.
-I Encourage people to get their Puppy Micro-Chipped as Toy Breeds are the #1 Stolen Dogs/pups.
All dogs are scanned for a micro-chip at the shelter.
